Movie scores provide a huge portion of the story telling. A movie without music will never fly with an audience. When a film composer augments a score with a full orchestra and chorus, things get really interesting. John Barry wrote a choral score for The Lion in Winter that sets the stage for intrigue and the appropriate Plantagenet style backstabbing.
